We offer a series of power converters in our powerMELA portfolio for the conversion of the DC intermediate circuit voltage into the type of current and the voltage level required by the consumer. powerMELA.dcdc are available for the supply of the on-board network, which transform the DC high voltage to 12 V / 24V / 48V depending on the vehicle. The powerMELA.dcdc can be parameterized via the CAN bus.
The inverters convert the DC intermediate circuit voltage into AC voltage, and have been designed for the control of generators as well as of main and auxiliary drives. The inverters are designed for four quadrant operation and can be controlled via CAN bus with nominal values for controlling the torque, voltage and speed. The inverters are available in two different variants. The first variant is required to control a 6-phase motor with a power of up to 160 kW, and the second for the control of two independent 3-phase motors with a power of up to 80 kW each.
