This sensor was specifically developed for applications with hydrogen and in ATEX zones. The core technology for pressure measurement is our thin-film sensing element, which is welded directly to the pressure connector. The measured values are available via a current interface.

SMX.pt-ha1 is based on STW’s own thin-film pressure sensing elements in hydrogen compatible materials. Combined with robust connection and packaging technologies and STW’s advanced electronics, SMX.pt-ha1 sensors enable long-term measurement stability in hydrogen applications.

ATEX approval enables the use of the SMX.pt-ha1 sensor in areas up to Zone 0, as well as in non-  hydrogen applications.

The sensor supports pressure ranges from 3.5 to 900 bar in media at temperatures between -40 und +85 °C.
