OPTI-H2 was developed with a strengthened sensing element design, executed in a hydrogen resistant material and combined with a high-sensitivity functional layer. The OPTI-H2 sensing element is thus optimised for measuring pressure in hydrogen and in other aggressive gaseous or liquid media. Elements for the measurement of temperature are integrated directly onto the substrate. Thanks to use of thin-film technology, our sensing elements are both highly sensitive and durable. Among other benefits, this is demonstrated by the high test and burst pressures of the sensing elements. The well-proven technology, wire bonding, is used to attach contacts to the functional layer. The sensing element can, optionally, be welded to the stainless steel pressure connection adaptor or delivered as separate components for further processing by the customer.
