Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Otto as a Managing Director. Starting from October 1, 2023, he will join Sonja Wiedemann and Christophe de Bary in the company’s executive management.
With over two decades of experience in the fields of robotics, mechanical engineering, and electronics, the future strategic direction of STW will be in capable hands with Michael Otto, as he takes over responsibility for sales and marketing, product management and development.
Prior to joining Sensor-Technik Wiedemann, Michael Otto had an outstanding career at KUKA Robotics, a leading company in the robotics and automation industry. As Managing Director there, he was responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, product management, and customer support. He distinguished himself with his strategic outlook, expertise in business development, and his overall contribution to the company's global expansion in the automation sector.
Automation, autonomous machines, mobile workflows, and digital services are some of the most important concepts in the transformations currently taking place at STW and in STW’s key industries. With his knowledge, competence and leadership skills in these areas, Michael Otto will be an invaluable team member, helping to lead STW to further growth and success.
Finally, STW would like to take this opportunity to wish a heartfelt farewell to their outgoing Managing Director, Steffen Dieterle, as he leaves the company to pursue further professional goals.
