The senior management of Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) has gained two new members. On August 1st, Sonja Wiedemann and Dr. Michael Schmitt were appointed as managing directors, joining the existing management Katharina und Wolfgang Wiedemann.
Sonja Wiedemann has been employed at the family enterprise since 2005. „We want to support the work of my parents, and build on the long term success of the company. We plan to pursue a market-oriented development of our products and services, and continue to offer innovative solutions in electronic control and measurement technology for the mobile machine industry. We will be building on our new business areas of teleservice and hybrid and electric drive technology. It has always been a special focus of STW to create and maintain interesting and steady jobs in the area, and this will remain a priority.”
Dr. Michael Schmitt has many years of experience in the development and production of electronic systems and products. The positions he has held in the past include program manager at EADS, business unit manager at Sepura and most recently, business consultant at Campana & Schott. It was in this last position that he came to know STW. „I am looking forward to the new challenge“, says Dr. Schmitt. „The business and organizational challenges as associated with an expanding component and systems supplier are familiar to me. With my experience and engagement I hope to be able to contribute to the continued success of STW.
