ELECTRIC TAXI EVA DRIVES WITH THE BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FROM STW

EVA, the unique electric taxi for tropical mega-cities celebrated its premier at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Two leading universities, the TU Munich (TUM) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) developed and built the EVA in Singapore, to demonstrate the ecological potential of taxis. The speciality of this development is the battery, which provides the vehicle with a range of 200 km and is recharged within 15 minutes. The research team didn’t need to experiment with the Battery Management System, rather they chose to rely on the proven powerMELA mBMS from Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW).
