STW AT HMI / MOBILITEC FROM APRIL 7 UNTIL APRIL 11, 2014

Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) will display the measurement and sensor product range with various new highlights at Hannover Messe.

For example the pressure transmitter F02 for safety related applications. It complies with the highly complex requirements of the new 2006/42/EG machinery guidelines. The F02 possesses the necessary properties required by the EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508 standards for the compliance of functional safety. As a result, it is ideal for use in systems that require a pressure transmitter with a PLd Performance Level or a Safety Integrity Level of SIL2. Consistent with STW’s many years of experience in the mobile hydraulic applications sector, particular attention was paid to typical prevalent conditions such as vibrations, EMC requirements, thermal stress loads and protection against other external influences.

STW designed the NGS2 gyroscope sensor especially for mobile work machines and off-highway vehicles. The robust housing makes the NGS2 suitable for the harsh conditions associated with these applications. The NGS2 can also be utilized as an inclination sensor, as both sensor types can be integrated into a single device.

Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH is introducing the new T01 temperature transmitter. The temperature transmitter was specially developed for use in commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. It is based on a highly accurate PT1000A temperature element in a welded stainless steel casing. As a result of the high-quality materials used, which are tried and tested in mobile hydraulics applications, the T01 is compatible with an extremely wide range of media and exhibits a high level of mechanical strength.
