STW AT THE BAUMA IN MUNICH

Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) will be at the bauma in München in Hall A5, stand 125 from 11th to 17th of April 2016. Solutions for the automation, electrification and connectivity will be demonstrated at our glass tractor and two interactive display towers. Here we show not only the combination of components to systems, but also cloud solutions tuned to the requirements of the construction industry.

At the automation display tower we present the latest member from the ESX control unit family, the ESX-3CM, and the new V-series display and operator terminal generation. Here, visitors can also experience the world of digiSENS measurement systems and sensors.

Our integration concept for third party products is demonstrated with driver and operator assistance systems comprising cameras, distance control or precision positioning. They are located in and around our glass tractor. Resting on a solid chassis this life size model exemplary for a construction machine is equipped with a diesel engine and powerMELA components such as a flywheel generator, inverters and motors proving optimum power provision for any front or rear construction supplement or even a fully electric drive. Electrification and e-mobility become reality for the construction industry.

Above all, the data management and connectivity display tower is dedicated to the handling of information, recognizing the growing importance of this topic in the age of IoT, Industry 4.0 and cloud solutions. Supplied with live data, applications for machine monitoring, such as the Vehicle Data System (VDS), and for data and process management can be tested. Our STW cloud solution “machines.cloud” based on Cumulocity’s technology gathers data from all other entities, offers seamless vertical and horizontal integration and allows a real “construction 4.0” experience.

We look forward to welcoming you at stand 125 in hall A5.
