After 3 days the Sensor+Test in Nuremberg closed its gates. With a total number of visitors at the previous year’s level plenty of customers showed interest in the topics “cloud” and “intelligent sensors”. Industrie 4.0 being promoted by the German government and the Internet of Things (IoT) – both addressed by STW with the platform “machines.cloud” – are ranked high in many companies nowadays. STW emphasized the importance in a presentation at the special forum “Networked Measuring for Mobile Applications”. “Intelligent sensors” count on preprocessing of data and the transmission of “smart” data, which will be realized by STW with new processor platforms in its sensors.
Company founder and managing director Wolfgang Wiedemann was pleased to welcome Kaufbeuren’s major Stefan Bosse who acknowledged STW’s importance for the economy of the town with his visit.
STW would like to thank all customers and partners for their visit and looks forward to the Sensor+Test 2018.
