This video tutorial introduces you to the topic of routing with openSYDE. Routing can be used in a system of controllers to access a controller that is not directly connected to the openSYDE client PC. This is possible only via the CAN interfaces or from the Ethernet to the CAN interface. Routing can be used for system update or for data transfer of dashboards.

    • Required hard- and software components
    • Creation of the openSYDE project
  • Flashing of a controller
    • Routing via 2 CAN busses
    • Routing via Ethernet and CAN
    • Behavior at not allowed configurations
  • Transferring measured values to a dashboard
    • Routing via Ethernet and CAN
